New anti cheat is going to calm down the actual parano mood of most players...It's a good thing for sure.
But to be honest i like the game like it is now, i'm not a fan of the new features, for instance the new anims... imo characters look ridiculous, especially male ones.

Do we really need all those features and stuff ? I mean it's an oldschool game, and waiting 2 years to see some minor graphic enhancements realeased is...oh well.
Anyway, we'll see the final result, I hope i'm wrong and it will be some really good new stuff...

I dont mind any of it tbh.  What i wanted to see and have no idea whther its been implemented (probably not since it would break a load of shitty coded shaders in older maps) is proper handling of shader code, so you cant take shortcuts like you can at the minute.

Also a sqlite log file system or a option to use a sql db for logging would be really nice, allowing easy access to stats without the need for bots, and also scaling would be a bit better, as currently the longer you leave a games.log, the bigger it gets and the more it lags things, especially with B3 enabled.

The moderator system that Maj was developing would have been a nice addition instead of the current ref function.  It would allow you to make a person a referee but allows you to specify which commands they can use, so you can set different levels like on B3, but without the lag that B3 gives. No idea if that will be in.

Jump mode, dont really care.  We'll see if it gives anything over what is currently available,  But if it is annoying im guessing most people will still run CTF or TDM for there servers.

Textures and lights are similarly pointless to me.  Eye candy is fine, but i tend to use custom textures and models in my maps.  Bumpy so far has had no linux client that can use its features.

Anti cheat will get rid of cheaters for a couple of weeks hopefully, then it may well start again once the coders work out how to bypass it.

Passport is good and makes it easier to track people, so a big thumbs up to that.  Also the management capabilities for clans should be of use to a lot of people.

What im going to vote on is new weapons, as i want my Glock.  Its the one thing missing from this game, the Glock.  I doubt it will have the capability for multi fire like on CS, but having a Glock just does it for me anyway. smile  All we need now is an Uzi to finish up the weapons collection.

for me, new anti-cheat mode is more important. coz we re fighting with cheaters real hard. and we spend too much time for it (recording, watching again and again...). my priority is keeping my server clean and protect others. thx to UAA. also our head admin Toxin build his own bot, we re get rid of cheaters and keep them out from our server..
anyway, new animations or characters..... is not so important to me. i like the way it is.

yea agree with smeag new jump mode hope it aint dumb and pointless

also the passport thing pretty cool

users must reigster and create nicknames for game and login
(so much steps for a free game lol)

if you try to change ur name in server/menu you get kicked from it lol..

Then I shall like knowing what Frozen Sand prepares us and what it is going to engender (competition, new types of map).

well i'm kind of a noob shooting (jumping too smile ) so my priority is the jumping system cause there aren't (at least i don't know) anny cheats for jumping.. hehe

so i vote jumping mode (don't understand me wrong, by jumping mode i don't mean a completely different jump mode, but a similar one, maybe with more possibilities of jumps for new maps smile )

for my part, im curious about a little of everything,  altho, animation do look funny.

here's my prediction for jump mode:  1 being able to join a populated jump server,, and seeing no one.  cuz everyone has there own "playfield"  ( was done in q4run ) you still can chat and spec everyone, but you cant see em,,    or maybe, no collision detection between players.     

2:  if 1 is correct, they will probably also implant a team jump mod,, where its like normal and see everyone.

just my 2 cents,,

The only problem with #1 is what if someone needs a med? Are they implementing /god automatically for that certain jump type so people cant get hurt? If so then what happens with all the trigger_death's?
